한국신약개발연구조합(이사장 김동연)은 한국원자력의학원 플랫폼구축사업단(KDePRI)과 함께 2015년 12월 18일(금) 14:00~18:00 한국원자력의학원 제1연구동 세미나실에서 “Accelerator Mass Spectrometry(AMS)의 Biomedical Application과 Drug Development에서의 활용”을 주제로 “제1회 Bio-AMS 및 RI 이용 신약개발 연구협력협의체 국제심포지엄”을 개최한다.

 한국원자력의학원 플랫폼구축사업단(KDePRI)은 이 심포지엄을 계기로 우리나라 신약개발컨트롤타워인 한국신약개발연구조합 회원기업들과 함께 신약개발 연구협력협의체를 본격 추진할 계획으로 있다.

□ 한국신약개발연구조합 여재천 전무는 이미 미국, 유럽 등 제약선진국을 비롯한 글로벌 의약품시장에서는 C-14과 Accelerator Mass Spectrometry(AMS)를 이용한 신약개발 임상시험이 이미 필수적인 요소로서 활용도가 높아지고 있으며 우리나라도 이번 심포지엄을 통해서 AMS의 이용에 대한 이해도가 제고 될 것으로 보인다고 밝혔다.
